On December 1st, 2015 our Editor-In-Chief Jeanette LeBlanc caught up with Ocala, Florida’s Wage War in Toronto. This breakout 5-piece metalcore band has been on the rise since the release of their debut album Blueprints that was released just days before the interview.

Wage War’s Blueprints was produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, The Word Alive, Motionless In White, The Ghost Inside) and co-produced by Jeremy McKinnon (vocals, A Day To Remember).

Seth Blake (guitar) and Chris Gaylord (bass) tell us all about the release in their first interview ever, sharing what it was like in the studio, the meaning behind their song “Twenty-One”, the Blueprints they hope to leave behind in their personal lives and music, and more.

You can also check out our coverage from their tour stop with August Burns Red in Toronto!
