CONCERT COVERAGE: BARRIE NEW MUSIC FEST

On Saturday July 19th, the seventh annual Budweiser New Music Fest was welcomed to Heritage Park in Barrie, as well as various other venues across the downtown core, featuring local and national artists of numerous genres.

BNMF’s headliner concert featured Barrie hip-hop artist Urban Havoc, Alliston’s hard rock troupe Golden Gate Graves, Barrie’s hard rock duo Indian Handcrafts, Mississauga-based reggae rock group IllScarlett, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan’s rock ensemble One Bad Son, Toronto’s indie-rock quintet July Talk, and Nova Scotia born rapper Classified (aka Luke Boyd) played to an all-ages event that brought beer drinkers and music enthusiasts together on one lawn.
