On Saturday May 9th, 2014; Austrailian metallers Twelve Foot Ninja made their way to Lee’s Palace with Organ Theives, Single Mothers, Cerebral Ballzy & headliners OFF!
We made it out to catch the first two bands, and boy are we happy we did.
With this being Twelve Foot Ninja’s return to Toronto since their last appearance in November 2013 with Periphery and Dead Letter Circus, we were glad they made it back sooner than later. Although these guys definitely have earned their place here as a headliner; they still showed Toronto plenty of love and seemed to have been happy to simply just be here.
Twelve Foot Ninja’s debut Silent Machine has blown up worldwide and already provided them with several award nominations, if you haven’t heard it- get it, right now! TFN promised to be back again (hopefully this summer).
Toronto’s Organ Thieves were the next band to take the stage, bringing with them a completely different crowd, sound and vibe. These rustic alternative/ punk rockers had great energy and made for a fun performance. Make sure to check out their debut album Somewhere Between Free Men and Slaves.
